There's no proven case of getting cancer if we cook in microwave... But Thawing/Defrosting inside the microwave may harm us..

Actually I'd made a detailed study on this before... But standing near a working Microwave may harm our fetus in some way..So preggies should be beware,...That's all..

Easy Oil free cooking can only be done with mIcrowave..Anybody please hlp..either to grill in microwave or in cooking range..

you could use a normal grill or even sandwich maker to fry fish with minimal oil.

just apply oil to aluminium foils and place the marinated fish over it and then place it in grill, within 20-30 minutes u can get crispy yet less oily fried fish.

i have tried in Mwave once or twice though it didnt burn it didnt taste very good.

I don't think one can fry something without oil.I have also read a lot about long term effects of microwave oven. But these kinds of mails go around all the time, we have to look for established theories and guidance from competitive authorities like WHO.Can anyone share more information about long term effects of Microwave ovens.

Thanx

Go to City Center - Jumbo electronics and buy a LG oven that can Microwave, Grill and Convection cook. I have one called LG Solardom or something like that. It can crisp anything, and even has a special setting for chips.

Microwave ovens are not designed for frying. If you want to fry use a frying pan, however they are good for steaming - much healthier cooking :o)
