Will Recruitment and Staffing companies be able to retain there position in 2009 ???
Its very obvious for everyone's knowledge that the sword of cost cutting has chosen job consultants throat at priority. Its been since ever that placement consultants and corporates HR team goes hand-in-hand for mutual business association, but at this time of a recession, all the companies have taken a common decision "no placement through consultants"...what do you think a placement consultant should do ??? may be they should stop eating and fire all his team, or may be they can shut down there business and start looking for a job, which is, a tough task for them at this time due to the gap which'll flashes in their CV as they're in business and not in job since long....or may be they should all wait and try to survive this undefined time period hoping that some day in a life span the market will again need there services....what do you suggest ??? I know this question is quite blunt and flashes all the stress we consultants are passing through....but i just thought to keep myself clear.....
