Dating Qataris - is there a chance at least 1 would be honest or are they all just jerks in relationships?

Salman, thanks for trying to turn things positive but I have the feeling he's hiding something from me.

Birdie, I'm not that easy kind of woman, of course I would like to settle down and have a family even though I don't think Qatar is the best place for that...

I wonder what is your real intention of having a relationship with a Qatari. Do you mean to marry him and settle in his life ?

Or just want temporarily ( as long as you are in this country ) a company to pay the bills in restaurants, fashion stores and jewelleries ?

You will be disappointed, if you dream for the option-1.

its seriously disappointing the way majority of people have commented above! c'mon wake up guys "not all fingers in a hand are equal"! every community have good and bad people, so why are you people hitting on Qataris!! that too after living in their country and using all their facilities.

I am not a Qatari, but i extremely respect their culture and believe that everyone who is allowed to stay here should do the same.

some one above said that "Qataris don't mind dating though its not in culture but they'll never marry you if your an expat"! dear, let me tell you.. i have come across many Qataris who have married non Qatari ladies (& also Qatari ladies who have married expat men),& the best part is that majority of these national men have married the non Qatari's mainly to help them and support them financially & in all possible means.

i do agree that some of them are jerks but then pls tell me which community is perfect!

of course, they will be jerks. because there is no such thing as dating in their culture. so whatever else that happens outside their culture, must be a playing and goofing around exercise.

wake up, you are in Qatar.

I'm a western expat. Well, you'd wonder what is allowed in Qatari society starting with alcohol, prostitution and other stuff... It's just that I'm worried about their mentality and have the feeling he keeps secrets. Like too many Philippinas, Chinese and Russians in his mobile phone, of course "just friends"...
