Where can we buy smoke alarms and get furniture made?

Hi all,

We've just moved to Doha and into a new villa. We've been searching the supermarkets and hardware stores for smoke alarms, but haven't had much joy. Any advice would be great.

Also, does anyone know of anyone who can make good quality furniture; there doesn't seem to be much choice here?

The Landmark Mall store called "The One" has some nice furniture. I'm not sure about the prices because I haven't needed to shop for furniture, but it looks good :o)

YOU MAY FIND FURNITURE SHOPS NEAR NAJMA MOSQUE IN NAJMA SOUQUE. ALARM CAN BE PURHASED FROM HARDWARE SHOP IN THE SAME AREA.

you may contact ag tech. for the smoke detectors. with regards to furnitures, you may visit nabco furnitures in airport st. near ramez.

i will post tomorrow the number of agtech. it is in the office.
