"TAKEN"....Illegal Movie???????
Recently heard dat(rumor)der is a ban on the english movie named TAKEN.is dat true?coz the actor is driving a qtr rgstrtion AUDI in paris,....Anyhow its a must see film....the story is abt sexracket gangs in paris selling young ladies to clientels frm GCC.Just shocked watching the movie is dat a real story?
It was definately not banned, since the movie was at theatres here for a long time. It was really an amzing movie.
I don't think it was banned. It just had different releases in different parts of the world. It is a french company production, so it was first released in france/ some european markets, then asia, then North America/UK at the very end. I'm pretty sure I remember seeing it on the film list in CC and also, a friend of mine watched it in Dubai.

it is banned because at the end of the movie Qataris are involved and represented as one of the bad guys.
it is shown on a bmw with qatar registration.
The movie is about kidnap / human trafficking.
well yea, tats wat happens in the movie. Movie is lovely though, go get it pirated :P
