SAQR- unbelievable collection of latest movie

it's kinda like a Virgin store.. you can find one in Landmark and also in Hyatt Plaza..

where is SQAR? is this a store ?...can anybody...tell me the location please....thanks

well the employee in the Landmark branch pointed that point to me when I wanted to buy a WII game. I wans't sure at the point and he told me that I can exchange it if it wasn't the same.

since then I always check.

Make Sure to check the Blu Ray Disk your buying from Saqr especially those on SALE. You will not have a chance to check the REGION CODE and the sales persons will not be bothered telling you that they are coded as REGION A. The disks are packed together exposing only the front cover (back cover facing each other). But in fairness to Saqr, they change the Blu Ray which i bought flawlessly.

Overall, SAQR still one of the best shops here in Qatar.

i love their collection of games.. all the latest.. original game prices.. and they always bring the collector's edition game boxes..

u bet.... its not always about how much..... good movies and music dont look good wen watching online or downloaded.....wat say?

lovely store ... i pass them by as often as possible to check on new stuff .. once they were playing Said Murad new ElectroOriental CD .. at QR 25 Riyals only .. why would i get into the hassle of searching .. downloading .. maybe its good quality & probably not

i agree...but sometimes i just feel like watching a stupid action movie...something not worth my precious 160 riyals...that's where the rentals and the online movies come into play.

I would still say its a great feeling when u know that u have an entire collection of ur all time fav movies when u want to watch them, and i wouldnt call pack of pirated/ online movies to be a collection.... think about it...

i've bought dvds before...there are some movies that are worth having around...aside from that, i don't know many good download sites...i use limewire but most of the time i end up with the wrong movie...

the question is if people are ready to pay and buy these versions with all the pirated copies available on the net ?? Lets face it, if someone offered you a CD free and another person offered the same CD with a price tag on it, which one wud you choose?

I would be doing that too soon.... pass by the SAQR stores to ctach up and buy the latest movie from there, u find latest movies updated every week, same time as America I would add

that's definitely the best place to get the latest stuff. prices aren't marked up or anything, that's just what dvds and blurays cost. i try to pass by there once a week to check out if anything is worth buying. If you're a little concerned about price then you can check out the place on the second floor of the family food center next to the airport. got some decent stuff you can rent for 10 riyals...i don't think they rent out blurays yet though but they sell them...not the latest of movies but still ok.

from what i knw the cost varies... a collection of titles like a trilogy of matrix would be higher and single movie would be anywhere around 160 QR or something dont knw.... did u check anywhere else?
