Hi,

apart from yr lifestyle it also depends on which part of India you come from......like if you are from K*** you can save 12,000 out of 10,000....oh yes, i am serious becos as a K you can earn another 3,000 by doing odd jobs and you spend only 1000 out of 13,000. how's that?

jokes apart, as a bachelor 10K should be good to take an oppurtunity. I guess you will have to find a place yourself, that would be a bit of challenege but if you can squeeze yourself somewhere decent then that would be the major part of your expenditure, food won't be costly.

good luck

This will depend on what you call basic living, but generally if housing & bills are included, you'll need travel & food etc., so should be able to save a lot. Worth doing!
