To be honest, I'm not THAT well read up on it.. I once read The Tao of Pooh..that has to be an all time favourite.. also, Sufi Wisdom featured largely at the time.
My 'bible' though, has to be Gibran.
I'm so clueless as to the backgrounds of these religions (shameful I know) that I'm not really able to place my readings into categories like that. I think that the sentiments of Tao and Buddism- as well as from the little I know of Islam, are inspiring.. and as Westeners, we'd be as well to take some of them on board.
I'm ducking now as I anticipate a bombardment of furious religious zealots slating my blatant lack of knowledge. I'm not commenting on religion, just on some of the truly awe inspiring guidance from some of the (far too little) I have read.
