QIC sucks, Which insurance company is good?

Qatar Insurance Company is avoiding insuring 3rd party insurance by refusing to insure if the client doesn't come before 7AM, when they actually only open at 7AM. They want us to come very early and wait outside till they open, and then only accept the first 100 clients!!!

Their policy is take as much money as we can, and don't fix nor pay back any of it...No wounder they are one of the strongest insurance companies in the Doha Stuck Market.

But which insurance company insures and pays claims properly? and with no runarounds?

Not only QIC, all the insurance companies are not giving any importance to the third party insurance. I been General Insurance Company three days back at around 11.45am and told to come at 7am and it will be accepted only first hundreds customer. Next day I have visited and took queue (89), and stand around an hour front of counter and then after been informed that the system is down so come next day morning at 7am with same queue number. Mean while I have visited to the QIC whether they do accept the third party or not, they told me they do accept only full insurance else I have to go to same insurance company.

I been to General Insurance Company on third day at 7.15 am with my previous queue number and there were already queue of more than 35 people. I went to the counter directly without queuing, ohhh the MUDEER (seems so) shouting on me saying its not cenama hall to bring the ticket from y'day we don't know about y'day what happened

mean time the counter guy torn my ticket quickly and throw in rubish while the same man told us previous day that system is down come tomorrow with same ticket...how come like that behaviour???? so you can imagine what is the situation of specially for third party insurance...

Agree with Hagar. The other day I was in QGIC . It was surprising to note that the TP rates here have not changed for ages. No wonder every insurance company wants to avoid this. Imagine 200k minimum for blood money shelled out by insurance companies for a paultry price of 250 odd QRs

enjoy life!!!!

Third party premium is fixed and hence no question of any company fleecing anyone.

My experience with other companies is worse? However I a couple of others that i contacted flatly refused Third party.

Moreover i shall put my money on someone who is strong rather than the other way round

enjoy life!!!!
