British minister apologizes for adult movies

LONDON: Britain's Home Secretary has apologized for claiming the cost of adult movies screened at her home on parliamentary
expenses.

Jacqui Smith claimed for five movies watched on pay-per view television channels at her family home in April 2008. Two of the movies that each cost 5 pounds (US$7) were classified as adult-only.

The Sunday Express newspaper and other British media reported that the adult movies were watched by her husband.

Smith said in a statement on Sunday that the television package had been claimed in error and would be paid back.

Smith is already under investigation from the parliamentary ethics watchdog over expenses she claims on the home in Redditch, 120 miles (190 kilometers) northwest of London, while staying with her sister in London.

Ms Smith has plenty to apologise about, adult movies are far below the early release of rapists and murderers, giving rights to paedophiles and generally being a whimsy leftie on my list of her crimes. I hope she resigns, she is not fit for purpose and gives all women in high powered jobs a bad name.

This is quite mild for UK Politicians - They are

usually found in hotel rooms with an orange in

their mouth and a plastic bag over there head

being paddled - Private Boarding Schools have a

lot to answer for. Probably got used as the toast

rack at breakfast
