to all pinoys esp. to all parents out der!
need help...i just give birth in our country last jan but unfortunately i have to leave my baby,(need to go back to work)since it will take time to finish all his papers (b.cert, passport)
What are the requirements needed by the DFA for passport processing of an infant? considering my mother will be the guardian.
i was informed by the embassy that affidavit of support n consent is not required since i will be accompanying my baby on his travel to Doha this year. (i will fetch him along with my mom) Anyone who can relate to my querries...need your advice!
tnx n advance:)
mga kabayan...salamat sa mga reply nyo
actually, nov. pa ko umuwi kaya dn me pwede pang mgextend, march narelease ung b.cert ng baby ko(after 2mos. of waiting). my hubby is also working here.
actually nakakuha na kami ng r'ments from the embassy kso unfortunately d tinanggap ng DFA, d daw un SPA, marunong pa sila eh ung form na un ang ngsisilbing SPA d2, i called DFA office n inquire about it. pinabasa sakin over the phone nung kausap ko ung nilalaman ng dokumento 'coz i kip on telling her na un ang SPA d2 sa Qatar,n upon hearing it, wala naman daw problema, nakastate naman daw clearly don ung purpose, kaya n the end, pinababalik nya mother ko at kung d pa daw tatanggapin eh lumapit sa supervisor n charge...
my point is dapat binabasa muna ng mabuti ng mga evaluator sa DFA ang dokumento before sila magreject, porke't d lang nakalagay sa heading na SPA eh d na nila binasa...
sayang ang pagod at panahon!
i know some of you can relate to this incident!? and it's so annoying!
Things need to get a passport for your baby...birth certificate, baptismal certificate, passport size ID picture, marriage certificate. Baby doesn't have to go for personal appearance. Only 10 yrs & above is required for personal appearance & interview of DFA. YOU as the mother should apply for the baby's passport. A lot of signatures needed from you as child's consent. The person who applied for the baby's passport is the only person who can travel with the baby. If you are married, marriage certificate is needed in DFA. If you are a single mom, make sure that there's no signature of acknowledgement of father in the baby's birth certificate...otherwise HIS consent is also needed.
KABAYAN DAPAT NAG APLY KA NA NG PASPORT NG BABY BAGO KA BUMALIK NG DOHA.ANG PAGKA ALAM KO KC DAPAT ANG MOTHER NG BABY ANG MAG APPLY KC KAILANGAN MO PANG MAGPERSONAL APPERANCE SA DFA THEN AFTER 10 DAYS RELEASE NA YUNG PASPORT.BAGO KA PALA MAG APPLY NG PASPORT KAILANGAN DIN NA BIRTH CERTIFICATE AND MARRIAGE CONTRACT FROM NSO.
