Just received a leaflet from QNB which says
QNB will be revising its tariff of charge across the banks product and services effective April 1st 2009!!!!!

QNB responded appropriately to customer expression of dissatisfaction. They recieved many complaints on 'Watan Al Habib Subah AlKhair' radio program, to newspapers, and to the Central Bank.

I'm pretty happy with QNb as I find that they are the most hassle free bank here..

QNB Revoked their revise tariff...
I receive a text from them stating:
" QNB Tariff of Charges will not be changed and will remain the same..." dated April 02, 2009.

I think they have a big question mark over the profits expectations in the current year. This is unfair considering their poor customer service.
I am a hell QNB customer since I came here... but because of tariff changes... kalas...bye QNB...
Before everything is free, statements, cheques...etc.. now???

Hi guys now all the banks doing like this.. I think it s better to keep money at home in a Safe box or under the pillow instead of putting them in a bank. if you keep money in account you will always have fear that they will put charges so put in home and have a relaxed sleep

QNB sucks.........
It's not your salary, it's your average monthly balance which must be above 5,000 QR. Big difference.
I guess if your sal is below 5k u need to change your bank acc to another bank.

that is not fair, what if someone's salary was less that 5,000. in this morning radio program there was a lot of buz about it.

If you are a QNB customer, I suggest you check out the tariffs.
One of the new ones that might effect you is the introduction of a 50 QR charge on all current accounts with monthly average balance below 5,000 QR, which is outrageous.
Another is 10 QR a month on dormant accounts.
I hope the Central Bank will intervene.
