How long is tourist visa??

When I did tourist visa for a mate of mine, on visa it says "Duration of residance: 01 month", therefore I believe it's 30/31 days, however a friend of mine told me it must be only 28 days (by writing 1 month, they mean 28 days)...

so how long is 01 month in their terms - 28 days or 30 days???
