Is it dangerous to drive Quads in the dunes?
Hello,
I was looking up some videos about banshee driving (I've just picked up this hobby a week ago) on youtube, and saw some terrible and mortal accident videos for SUV cars and quads in Qatar.
It is amazing the number of mortal accidents that can bee seen and the crazy driving there.
I am a family man and would like to have a quiet fun ride (not risk my life for it). I am even thinking of letting my daughters have a go at it (with me behind them)...
Is it that dangerous to go driving in the dunes?
Are there places that don't have these crazy SUV drivers?
I am planning to go there on Friday (missed it last week due to rain)...
Thanks.
Its great fun, just try to go during the week if you can. Do not go to Sealine on a Thursday night through to Saturday evening. Its way too busy and I know for a fact that there are dozens of accidents at the weekend and frequent fatalities. Anyone who tells you otherwise is lying.
Just be careful.
It's absolutely dangerous, but that makes it absolutely fun!
it is super dangerously FUN!!!
but pre cautions must always be the first...
The part just after Sealine Beach resort should be good.
You'll find some quads there. That stretch is relatively safe and I haven't seen many suvs go up that dune, because people tend to climb it.
And people are always there at the beach just next to the dune. But where there are people, there are always those with their quads that like to show off.
Oh and just for your info. an ambulance is usually stationed at the Sealine beach resort.
ya there are some crazy ppl who drive their DEATH SUV's..
but if u r plannin 2 go on an ATV...i think it is safe...
ATV's are not prone 2 accidents....nor do they roll over....
so i think u can go on with ur trip this week...
try keeping away from "those" SUV's.....
