...or so not, it seems. Qatar just seems to start at present (or haven't started it yet because they have to finish the other Education City buildings first before QSTP becomes 'functional').
And up until now, there's still no proper 'product' from a stem cell research as every other 'tests' fail to last within a year or so.

Qatar is already the "world leader" in solid waste production per head. Why do they still want more "leadership"??
Hey guys, I'm actually writing an article about this and interviewed a member of the Virgin team yesterday.
It sounds like parental wishes will be paramount, and that this will be an optional service. The details are all currently being worked out, but they are setting up a pilot program.

In safeguarding my child's DNA, I can't think of anyone I'd trust less than a Branson-Qatar partnership.
Are they saying that they own the DNA, or are they holding it in trust for the child? I suspect they are saying nothing and hoping no one asks.
Sorry, but I'd prefer some degree of institutional openness and a solid regulatory framework before I'd be happy they weren't going to clone my kid's liver because it was slightly more resistant to HepC.
