take the exam or enroll in driving school first before taking the exam.

You could go for a minimum 10 class driving course and appear for road test directly (after being directed by the driving school)

Kabayan,

Just present your RP drivers license and take the direct driving (only 150qrs for 2 chances.)

Driving tips:

1. Fixed all side/center mirrors even do the mirrors already set.

2. fix seat belt

3. Drive at 50kmp speed & donot overtake

4. Observe traffic signs (if the police will stop you on the wrong stop lane or sign donot stop go to the proper stop area).

5. For intersection full stop for 3 seconds if you turn left & slowdown for turn right then proceed.

6. After the driving exam dont' forget to park the car properly, neutral transmission, press hazard signal then YOU CAN GET YOUR QATAR DRIVERS LICENSE. Dont' forget to say Gud am/pm thanks to the police.

My co-worker from Philippines who sits right beside me ( who is wearing a blue shirt today, by the way ) is telling me that you do have to attend some lessons ( at least half of it ) and then you can take the driving test and then if you fail to pass the test then you will be re-assess.

Only GCC driving license can directly be converted to local driving license including European and American and some other international licenses.

However, it would be better to check their website to know further details about the conversion.

Good luck!
