any could be of help please? im under my husbands sponsor every year whenever we are renewing my visa the counter from immigration is asking me to go to labor office first, but i will ask only for the captains signiture then after that it will be ok they immediately can renew my visa, but today even the captain is asking me to go to labor office first, they are aking my husband to apply labor permit for me any of the same situation?thanks
There is two type of family resident visas, 1: Family RP (issued to people earlier in Qatar, they had stopped that system 5 or 6 years back, issued to the people who were on work has "WORK" status in their ID Card) people n Family RP can renew their visa every year with out any issues.
2. Family Visit: issued these days: (issued to people who has visa type: "WORK VISIT" in their ID Card) for this visa we get approval from labour dept for 2 or 3 years each time, the duration in mentioned in your original visa 1st time we get from emigration (blue color original visa) during that duration we can renew it directly in emigration. after that we has to apply for family status approval from labour department again, that is submit that family visa application and bank statement letter from company and stuff.
