Excellent Customer Service!
Recently i shopped at Jarir Bookstore to pick up a laptop bag. I was looking for a particular style, but coudlnt find none. Upon asking the salesman, he bought to my notice that it was out of stock and would take 2-3 days for new stock to be delivered. I asked him if he can let me know when the stock arrives. He took down my number and told me that he would contact me.But i felt its useless to have hope that he would actually call me...
To my surprise, he did called and tell me that the stock has arrived. I was so happy:)

We were in a supermarket last Thursday. When we were paying a sale package on 2 shampoo bottles (400ml each), the machine on the counter flagged "item not found".
She called on the supervisor to find the price of the item.
We waited for about 20 minutes (becoming frustrated for waiting).
Finally the supervisor came and he said sorry they could not find the price. BUT for making us wait a long time, he gave the items to us FOR FREE! (I think that is excellent service)

Isn't it funny? Some guy just does his job and it is considered exceptional!
very good!!!... got the same story... i returned a shoe rack that I purchased from Home Center -Centerpoint... because of some missing screw...
they told me that they will call me tommorow... and will advise if they have still the same item, else, I could change it for other item...
they called up after 3 hours...! got my new shoe rack.. with complete set of screw...

I too gave my contact number with my passport size pic to the salesman at Lulu Hypermarket and told him to call me if i won tat Landcruiser in the Raffle draw....
But till date no calls, mail,fax, telegram or telex from HIM...:(
