MS in Qatar treated by chiropractor.

I have seen Dr Sharon Hormozi at the Doha chiropractic centre on D ring road, and just want to let any one else who suffers with MS know she is an absolute miracle worker, I recently went back to the UK for 2 months, when I returned I was in a wheelchair, very weak and in a great deal of pain, I saw Dr Sharon on 2 consecutive days, and then for a 3rd time 2 days later, and she has alleviated all pain and got me back on my feet, I feel brand new, I would recommend her to anyone who has MS, especially as the medics say they can do nothing for the disease, also my husband suffers with his sacro-illeac tendon, which again she fixed in 2 sessions.
the cost of treatment is 450QR for initial consultation, and 250QR for subsequent treatments, and it really does make all the difference to the quality of life, and in a comparison to other clinics offers excellent value for money especially as the price includes any physio and massage.
If any one has MS and would like to chat or mail me feel
free, I have Primary Progressive MS and have had it for over 20 years now, and it is the first time I have ever felt this good since I was in my early twenties. So for back aches, migraine, MS, and stiff necks, sore arms , pins n needles in legs , arms etc she is well worth going to see, she works like a charm.

hi wizmotr,

you dont have to belive a word i say, i just wanted to let others with the same condition know what i find works, as well as many other people, it is NOT a cure, we all know there is no cure for MS, but if it helps people to live a better qaulity of life then it is defiantely worth a try, after all human nature dictates the will to live is stronger than the will to curl up an die, and quite rightly we are given brains to use and thought to examine and explore, so unless we try we never know.

myelin sheat degeneration occurs in all individuals over time, however in MS the resulting damage leaves lesions, known as plaques on the brain, often damaging neerves beyond repair, hence why my swallowing defecit and bladder defecit remain un altered, but the fact i can now stand and walk (granted not too far) really does make life worth living.

you are right to question this, as it brings things to the fore and open for discussion, when often the view is "it cant be cured so why bother do anything", thankyou for your comments.

Hi smartflower,

so sorry to hear of your health, for many years i used conventional medications prescribed by my consultant, though after kidney failure and auto immune hepatitis in 2007 i decided to go my own way, the reason i feel the chiropractor treatment work is because the nervous system runs from the brain and down the spine, and the adjustments "unpinch" the nerves, and thus ease pain and suffering, but enough of that Dr Sharon is at Doha CHiropractic centre on the D ring road, and the mobile number for her is: 5474569 and her landline number is 4650012. they are extremely professional and it has helped me a great deal, though it is not a cure, and regular weekly or even twice weekly treatments are necessary.

As we know MS is a progressive degenorative neurological disease for which there is no cure, bearing that in mind, i personally feel anything that makes living with this wretched disease better is worth a try.

things i found usefull are green tea, which is good for everyone, kalawalla herb, to help regulate the immune system which so often is shot to pieces, and plenty of fish and fresh fruit and vegetables.

I am prepared to talk /chat to anyone who has this disease as sharing coping strategies often reveals things we may have overlooked, or indeed never even have thought of........also check out noel batten........he has a web site about MS, and alternative therapies, he is very christian minded, however it isnt necessary to be a christian to follow his techniques.

The thing to hold onto is "you never know unless you try"

hope this helps, stay positive and enjoy each day, and remember you are not alone with this.

MS is caused by a spontaneous degeneration of the mylean (sp?)sheath covering nerves. I don't see how a Chiropractor can treat this? It might make for a nice massage or relax muscles, but I doubt if it is an actual remedy.

Since Allah has given me a brain, it would seem like a sin not to use it.
