Lady, do you think there are lot of people in Qatar enthusiastic about learning French? I don't think so....and obviously why would they need French teacher if they don't get a crowd of students.

Whatever little bit the need is probably fulfilled by the native French speakers. There are quite a few French companies in Qatar & many with family. So their wives will not let the oppurtunity go..........

Just think about it & probably need to search on other fields too.

I know being out of a job for long time can be painful. Inshallah don't you worry, I am sure you will find something that will suit you. I have kept you in mind and i will do some cross checking with a couple of people i know. I will not make any promises to you at this point of time considering that recession is still on and most of the companies have frozen recruitment for the time being.

Guys, in fact two weeks ago, i've been trying to search for jobs in another fields like HR pr PR, but the problem is that i'm doing all this alone, maybe i need someone there to guide me or to give me a bit help.

See, i'm trying to do everything but nothing worked, unless until now.

most unis look for a masters degree in the subject they want you to teach...

and do you have a teaching certificate to teach high school? like a PGCE or something?

think about your language as secondary or as support to you in another domain.

I mean think about new work or any new business you can do try to not depend on others to hire you but hire yourself with others.

Oh my God, can't tell u how many times i did it but the problem is that most of them want french natives :( I'm sick of that and it depressed me for a long time. So now i'm trying to find another options.

Why don't you send your CV to all the schools & Universities in Qatar. You will find the list of the most international schools under "Guide to Qatar". However I am sure all positions will be for starting in August cos of the holidays. This seems to be a better approach than going thru a placement agency as schools do not tend to use placement agencies for recruitment.
