Hi

living in qatar is not cheap but it is depends on your salary and your life level any way this is some main expenses:

Home: one room 2000QR 2bed flat 7500 Villa 15000QR

Car: small car 34000QR M car 75000 Nice&Luxury car 175000

Bently 900000

Food:KFC twister 8QR arabic meal 20QR pizza or pasta 28QR open buffet in hotel 200QR

Laundry 6QR for shirt 15QR for suit

Mobile: international call about 3-4 QR

-------------------------------------------

if u have family with 2 kids u need about 15000 QR monthly

if u are single you need 5500QR

this is the normal level

without explaining your lifestyle, one cannot advise you the cost.

You search the QL site, to know the ACTUAL cost/living

later come back again, to know the VIRTUAL cost/living

If you scroll down and look at the lower right hand of the site it says "Sample Budget and Cost of Living".

I suggest you do a search on QL as this is discussed to death earlier. Basically it all depends on you. An Americans Cost of living is probaly ten times higher than an Indian
