Hi everyone,

I've tried contacting NHA,however I was transferred endlessly to different numbers.

Anyway, can someone please tell me what are the requirements to get a lisence for my friend who is under visit visa, or is it possible for her to get one?

yes whellw.....changes happen evry now and then....during my time its onl 100QR too..but im not sure that you're wife did not undergo for evaluation...Because she needs acceptance first from where she will work with...and the company name will appear on the license ...they will not issue license unless you dont have the place of work that could sponsor your license...for ILS she can take it within a year before her first renewal...because its another requirement for renewal....

ah ok, pinkrose... thanks for that added info.

co'z as I remember before when I was applying for my wife's NHA license, she just submitted her documents as you mentioned and after paying QR100 and waited for almost a week, we already got the certificate. by the way, before, I remember that they require her to attend & pass the ILS.

well, I guess its all different now.

yes you're correct whellw....she' can't acquire license without working visa.BUT she can go for evaluation because it's NHA requirements first....NEED TO BE SCREENED ALL HER DOCUMENTS, and once she was evaluated...they will give her receipt of evaluation and that receipt she need to show for any hospitals she had apply for...and once she got a job and give her visa and with RP, then they can apply her for license....EVERYBOBY WANTS TO HAVE LICENSE IN ANY MEDICAL FIELDS SHOULD UNDERGO EVALUATION FIRST....thanks

Yes she can apply on the NHA but not yet as licensee holder, but as for the evaluation only. Before they release you a license , you should have to be evaluated first...How? just send all your documents listed below:

1. Resume or CV

2. Transcript of Records

3. Diploma

4. Board Rating Result issued by PRC

5. Certificate of Employment from previous to the last date of employment

6. 2 pcs. 2x2 pictures

7. And 300QR (but not so sure now about the payment, some says they increase to this amount but during my time as a nurse only 100QR)..

AND IT SHOULD BE ATTESTED IN MALACANANG AND RED RIBBON AT DFA...and she should represent also all the ORIGINALS.

The result of evaluation will take 40 days or more, it depends on the completion of the requirement that she's going to submit.

Then after the NHA screened her, they will give a result that she's evaluated or rejected. Once she got evaluated she can go and apply now for any clinics, hospital on hiring that can sponsor and give her visa permanently.

If she's still on her country, you can do apply her for evaluation, because as i told evaluation will takes time. So atleast when she come to Doha you've already finish the first step for her, and since she's on visit visa for limited period of time staying here.

Note: TO AVOID DELAYS FOR HER EVALUATION, PRESENTS ALL DOCUMENTS ATTESTED BY HER COUNTRY.....

Or if you want all in clear......visit NHA office beside LULU CENTER, infront of HAMAD MEDICAL HOSPITAL.

I don't think so....

first & foremost, she should have a working visa, and she should be currently working using her profession, then that's the time she can able to acquire NHA license.

hope it helps...
