S O S !!
Dear Reader,
I have an open contract with a company as a teller in a bank, the company has a contract with the bank, so i am working at the bank but under the sponsorship of the company, and of course the company gives me a 1,500 salary whereas the bank pays the company around 7,000.
Anyway, i have worked for 3 years now, the bank is no more interested in the company tellers, so the company has no positions for us. The company says we have to leave Qatar, but we do not accept that.
My question is:
If we go to the Labour Ministry, or make a compaint at the court, are there any chances that the government forces the company to issue us No Objection Letter to transfer our sponsorship or not??
What are the possible steps we should tackle to maintain our freedom??
Thank you for your time and interest.
Any suggestions are welcomed.
I think it is worth a try. Make an application and see what happens. What do you have to lose?
If your sponsor doesn't give you a `release` or a NOC, you will have to leave the country. The Ministry of Labor ain't doing anything for you.
These laws apply for everyone. They are not going to make an exception for you. They probably will not even listen to your case.
