what to do with damage bills?

sometimes we receive money from some transaction (ex:shopping)..and we don't notice that one of the money bills that were given to us is partially rip..and as we try to use this "ripped" bill as payment they (cashier) won't accept it saying it's "damaged"...so ok

here's my question how much damage should the bill be before it's considered damaged and unacceptable?

and in case that you have some damaged bills what do you with them...do you take them someplace for proper disposal or to be exchanged?

u can get it exchanged at QNB.

All banks should accept damaged Qatar notes - they can return them to the issuing body and have them replaced. Be more careful with damaged foreign notes, these are more difficult to get rid of!
