How to move a car from Doha to Dubai???

GUYS or ANYONE who can knows!!! please I need you valued opinions and help...

I am a single lady and fully own an expensive 1-year old (almost new with very low milage) car with qatari registration in my name. I am not a resident in Qatar anymore. It is kept with after-sales service in Doha.

I need this car for my personal use in the UAE for the next two months. I am a UAE resident with a British passport.

How best, fastest and cheapest could I get my car over to UAE?

If I was a guy- MALE- I would jump on a plane and then drive it over here myself, but being a single woman I cannot cross the SAUDI borders by myself.

PLEASE help me find the best solution. I appreciate your advice. You could also call here if it is quicker to just explain in words: UAE code plus five zero nine zero two five four six eight.

THANK YOU- this is a genuine question so please be nice.

Darude- sounds like you have done this before- can we discuss this in little bit more detail please?

Could I get someone in Q to sign in my name- or does this export application need to be couriered to Dubai?

and where and how can I get a copy and does this need to be in English or Arabic??

And could you recommend a good shipping company please asap??

Thanks in advance!

so means you will leave Qatar for good, then you need to go to traffic dept cancel Qatar Registration get export license and number then arrange for a freight or cargo to deliver it to you in Dubai you will then register it there with the traffic dept and take off the Qatar export number. just a work of few hours. paper work can be done by any one but your signature will be must.then i think you will need shipping insurance also.

Hello and thanks very much for your reply!!

No friends who would drive- or if there are any they are keeping quiet!!

Why do I have to be there? to sign something?

Could I just authorise someone to do the paperwork- and by paperwork what do you exactly mean??

do u have any friends here in qatar who can drive and bring it there and just pay him the expenses?

thats the simplest way

but b4 that u have to come here and finish the paper work from the traffic department

as you are going to export the car and change the number plate and give the car to your friend to drive it to dubai.
