For Filipinos, how to have police clearance authenticated by DFA

Hi guys! I have a job offer in Doha and one of the documents I need is to have my police clearance authenticated by the Dept. of Foreign Affairs. Can someone with a good heart teach me the process on this?

additional note : I asked a travel agent and he said that I need to have the police clearance authenticated by the Regional Trial Court (RTC) first before submitting to DFA, which made me confused. Is this true? He said that I can have the NBI clearance authenticated directly by DFA, but not the police clearance. My headhunter here in Manila insists that what I need is the DFA-authenticated police clearance. Thanks in advance for your help!

Thanks for the quick reply. Actually, it was a local headhunter (manpower agency) who first contacted me, so I guess there will no problem about me being an undocumented OFW.

Do you have an idea on the process on how to have an NBI Clearance and a Police Clearance authenticated by the DFA? I'm asking because I got confused with what my headhunter and the travel agent are saying. Pls help on this. thanks

You need an authenticated NBI clearance from DFA, if your a local hire in Qatar. You need the local Qatar Police clearance from CID for that purpose not the one from there. Also you need to translate the NBI in arabic once your here in Doha. Also all you educational certificates to be authenticated. It will be a big hurdle for you if not. Our embassy here will not authenticate your documents if not done first there. Especially NBI. Also better deal with a manpower agency so that you are a documented OFW and no more worries of the above details.
