I left Qatar last year, and now working in europe.
I and family will be travelling to India next month by Qatar Airways. We have Indian Passport.

I wanted to make a 48 hrs stopover in Doha in my return journey. Do I need a NOC from my previous employer (A QP affilliate)?

Can Qatar Airways do a transit visa for me without a NOC?

No NOC no visa simple as that.

Yes as you have'nt completed 2 years after leaving qatar you need NOC to stay in QATAR. Just get a copy of NOC by fax is enough.

yes you need NOC from your ex employer or they will turn you away at Doha airport.
