Yesterday's ordinary little experience
My love for nature has always made me go to the cornishe here since the time I am living in Qatar…as I come from the garden city back home. It has now turned out to be a regular pattern of mine to visit the sea side and drop some food for the fishes. Yesterday also as usual I had been to sea side near to the harbor of alkhore. After a hot summer day it was very pleasing to be out there.
The first thing as I got out of the car I saw was the gushing of water and the noisy wind cutting through my face under the dim moonlight. The moon far away appeared to be just above the streetlights, like the one which is mostly seen in the children’s story books. It looked beautiful. It appeared as if an artist had painted it. The sky was very clear and the stars were twinkling and passing across them one or two aeroplanes twinkling at its tail just like a moving star. As it was 11 in the evening I could see the moon slowly disappearing. I remained merely enjoying the movements of everything.
Since the water was not tranquil I could barely see any fish catching up the fodder I put for them. After having dropped the food into the water with the thought that the fishes might gobble when they see it, I took a breath of air walking leisurely around. At the corner as I stood I saw a little kitten in the mid of the road very daringly facing the headlight of a land cruiser. It just fetched a smile on my face. Absolute silence around the fishermen’s boats with its flashing lights on each boat some red and some blue in colour ready to start for the next morning. I didn’t prevent myself from sealing my eyes. The thin stole I had draped around was soaring high in the breeze as if I was flying high.
When I opened my eyes I could not stop gazing at the water stretch, the stars so high, and the sky for long. I felt so touched and wondered. My thought of loneliness in this country away from my people back home always bothers me. But yesterday the nature inspired me something very deep. The nature standing there unaccompanied may have never complained of its lonesomeness as we humans do even though we live in a world of man made things to relish us. But the dissatisfaction always continues…
I was feeling very lazy to come back home. With the lovely feeling of what I saw I slept so comfortable like as if in my mother’s laps…..
we are kittens and cats BTW....
haha the kitten made me laugh just imagining it..cats, like lions, are awesome..i don't have one but notice them outside all the time..those guys just don't give a f***..they do their thing and basically just walk around being badasses lol..nice write up too..many a time being by yourself, at one with nature, can refresh you in untold ways..glad you had a good time:-)
days i saw beautiful waves again here and i think even people coming from Doha were playing in the water
the same way i thought....its really the real beauty..need special feeling to feel surroundings...
goodluck..
