Why do we have to pay?

I have heard that it will cost Australian supporters QAR250 to watch the match this Saturday night at Al Saad stadium, whilst locals will get in for free.
Their rational behind this is that when Qatar played Australia, in Australia earlier in the year, 'they' were charged QAR330 to watch the match.....Having had Australian friends that attended that match, I know that all spectators regardless allegiance to a particular team was charged QAR330.....
How can this be fair? Surely FIFA, if they new about this wouldn't allow such practice.

seems suspicious

What are they going to do, check your passport? How in the world are they going to know that you are Australian. Pretend you are from Canada!
