Hi to all. Kabayan, my application to sponsor my wife from the philippines was denied at the labor dept and I have no idea what to do next. No idea why it was denied. I want to re-apply again but dunno how. Maybe theres a procedure how to re-apply for refused husband sponsored visa. My salary is above 9K and wife resigned last april here in doha(company sponsored), shes in manila now. From what I understand, she can be able to come back here since she doesnt need noc coz I will be the one who will sponsor her, and not a company which would take at least 2years for her to come back here.PLEASE HELP.

and ask for the LAJNA.. they will give you an appointment, where almost 5 officers will re-consider your application and only there you can know the reason of refusal. ;)

guys, im a senior staff where i work, and my salary is 9500 without accommodation.she already resigned from her company, thats why she doesnt need NOC anymore.

I would like to know is what is the steps in re-applying after being denied by the labor department. I heard somewhere that another guy re-applied and got approved. Though I dont know how he did it. Thanks..

First, your salary should be 7500 BEFORE accomodation.

Second, not only salary matters, but also your Job Title. Only senior staff and high level specialists are entitled to sponsor their families, maids, etc.

I think you will need NOC from last company....lest she "leak their company Malpratice secrets"......

Doesnt matter if its your wife.....according to the rule the sponsor (where she works/ed) "owns" the employee.

She can come into the country and leave the country only on his wishes....

Thats my deduction of the law...maybe I am wrong....I am no expert.
