what about getting a personal loan here in Qatar? I got a loan from my bank two years ago for a 7% fixed interest rate. last week i found out that they've been charging me 11% from my remaining principal with out my knowledge. which resulted to me, paying 7 months additional amortization.

same to me. I have personal loan with HSBC and before the financial crisis last year they were charging me 4,950 riyal (7.99% interest and that is when they have promo) but after that they now charge me 5,166 riyal or a more than 10% interest I think.
