in is eager to ROB you of your happiness?
i was thinking of that after answering one of the threads posted about the last time you cried.
got into a different perspective and it got me thinking.

the villain, the dictator, the imposter, the double crosser, theyre all happy seeding evil and torturing us in ways we can imagine.

sad,really sad...

Good night Bubbly,

Remember, fora are just text... emotionless black on white letters that compose a sentence. Hence, interpretation is key.

You, judging your remarks, I guess you choose wisely.

Cheers mate!

Shoe - I have learnt one thing here...

It is easy for me to give a solution if I don know the problem.. or the seriousness of it... or not attached emotionally to it...

but if I know... how deep it is...

I prefer being silent...

Coz Not motivating is better than saying something which I myself would not listen to and saying something which might have a risk of causing more pain...

Damn,... its shait late... before I go more Lucid..

Good night people...

FS - Nice post.. thks... living in present is an art we have to learn from the kids... :)

Bubbly,

Unfortunately I do enjoy a verbal joust.......

Unfortunately, sometimes, provocations lead to interesting discussions or excessive cum emotional reactions.....

It is the nature of the beast.

But you are right, the right response is the nuanced and mature response to any response.

Thank you for this late night lesson!

climber,

why didnt u just drop the blasphemy and the mocking words from the start?

YOU did say sensible things...

if shoe retorted, think of it as "it's his post..."

and yeah people are free to talk, albeit i hope it will be with MORE EMPATHY...

Shoeaddict,

You indeed do not need to justify your reaction, so why attack me on mine?

Rude, you? Maybe, maybe not.. what do I know, I just judge text. You might have a bad day.

If I can help, anyone, why not? Get them a job, give them advice... it only costs me energy, so yes I will.

My maturity.. ow, I could do better... Insanity, as long as it is temporary, no probs.

No need to thank me, thank you!!

a reaction.if you think im rude, then thank you.

if you have to help people less fortunate than you, then do it.

if your purpose is to counsel, then feel free.

as for my depression, well ill get over it.

you seem to be a mature person,so,,deal with my temporary insanity...

again,

thank you.

But shoeaddict....what rudeness you display here...

Whom invited you to this post? Nobody, same goes for me.

Oh wait, your perception of the world is 'I' and 'ME' and the rest can choke.... bloody shame.

You may disagree with me, but your failure to remain polite says more about you than me. Or was a snare, which you prefer not to see, moved?

You see, each individual can choose its neighbors. I choose neighbors that are less fortunate than me in order to be able to count my blessings, and if possible help the less fortunate. Unlike choosing neighbors that are better off, as they would need to help me.

I doubt you will be able to understand the analogy, if you do... please do respond, it is a public forum where everybody is invited to join...

Jesus Christ...... I will say it out loud....

What the fcuk is wrong with people on QL and their ever depressing posts....

HAPPINESS IS NOT DEPENDING ON OTHERS. HAPPINESS IS YOUR OWN STATE OF MIND.

- it lies in your way of living, poor or rich

- it lies in your capacity to put into perspective the negative

- it lies in your approach to life in general

If you are poor, do not think richer people are happier. If you are rich, think of how poorer peoples seem to have less worries. Each and every individual has his/her own perception of happiness, the unfortunate just have a weak spirit/mind/mentality.

Why aren't you nicely married to your first cousin?

Forever we are in past or future the going back & forth in the flashback

or the attempt to guess the end of the thriller when the movie is hardly half way does not make the experience enjoyable

a person is always scoring self goals

brooding, dissatisfied he creates his own problems & spends the life time trying to solve them in the process tying himself in knots again & again

I wonder why we cannot be simple & child like why can ‘t we be free like a bird, river or a gust of wind!!

I'm legend", with Will Smith? there he tells the story of Bob Marley being shot before a show, and still days later Bob goes and performs on the stage. So people ask him why insisting, and Bob replies: the darkness never takes a brake on making evil, so why should we stop fighting? Shine it trough, baby, shine it trough...

shoe, yep it was more of a statement than a question...

and it is only YOU who knows about YOU...

didn't it ever cross yer mind that YOU may have been happy afterall?? by making others happy?

maybe the REAL happiness was unconsciously covered by DISCONTENTMENT(on yer part) because you felt that you were not doing yer best...

shoe, how do you define HAPPINESS??? by how you define it, that's where you should start...

or maybe about time for you to REDEFINE happiness...
