Hi Friends

I am from India and working in Saudi Arabia. Planning to move to Qatar for new job in few weeks. As I understand I need to undergo medical test before travelling to Qatar. May I get all tested done in Saudi Arabia and not in India. If anyone knows please let me know and address where I can go for the test in Saudi Arabia.

u have to do medical in Qatar after ur arrival, its mandatory. after clearing medical, u can go for finger printing & RP etc. but its good for u to do medical in india, coz if any thing u find thn u can get easily treamtment there, as medical expenses are too much high here, and in new arrival case, u may b deported if any serious case / diseases, they find in your medical report. best of Luck.

Please note; if you are offered a job in Oil Industry (mainly oil produce or share holders) you will have to take a full medical before your work visa is processed. I came from Abu Dhabi few years back and I had to do it at American Hospital in Dubai.

Hai..

Please go for a medical test in India for the safer side of both your employer and yourself, and then both the parties can confirm that you are fit to work.

Now there are some cases reported that some people have failed in their medical test here in Qatar, so employer will be loosing some amount for the same.

But, keep it in mind that the report from India is not final, as you have to undergo

another medical test here in Qatar followed by your arrival here..

Hope it helps you..

If u are advised to send medical report u have to do that. some companies are asking the medical report prior to come to qatar to ensure that the candidate is medically fit and he/she will not fail in the medical checkup here in qatar.

Medical in india is not required, as by brother came last week with work visa, entered qatar

you should go thru a medical here in qatar with in 7 day after arrival, and company HR dept will process your resident permit future.

but my advice.. as you are in india now, get Police clearance certificate, degree and marriage certificate attested in indian foreign affiars, if so.. these will be usefull for family visa, and for you future step to settle in qatar.

nope that wont be needed as when they will get your visa they will fax/email to you. Just when u will arrive in Qatar with that visa, you will be asked to have MEDICAL TEST,finger printing from Qatar. SO DON'T BOTHER

.

Moreover, it would be better if you have POLICE CLEARANCE CERTIFICATE from INDIA. JUST IN CASE !!!!

.

Its upto company, what kind of visa they get.

It all depends on the demand of your employer usually

Once you enter Qatar you will have to do Medicals anyways

which is a requirement to obtain your visa.
