NOC from Qatar Petroleum

Back on this forum after nearly an year!
I am an ex QP Employee and currently working outside Qatar.I have recently been offered a lucrative position by one of the private oil & gas operators however they have queried me about my NOC.I had left QP on my own accord(resigned) and since I was leaving Qatar , I had made no such requests. Just to clarify I have NOT completed two years outside Qatar as of now, still got an year to go.
Hence wanted to know the procedure for obtaining NOC from QP after I have left the company? Has anyone got an NOC from QP? Appreciate comments on my situation and would love to hear the experiences of the other QL members

Dear frind

I have gone through all this process.and I am very thankful to QP for considering my application and giving me NOC.

WELL.THE RIGHT PROCEDURE IS TO WRITE TO HR MANAGER (QP) REGARDING YOUR NEW OFFER AND AND ATTACHE YOUR OFFER LETTER WITH APPLICATION FOR NOC.

THEN APPLICATION WILL GO TO HRA TO YOUR DEPARTMENT .IF DEPARTMENT HAS NO ISSUE WITH YOU AND MANAGER APPROVES THEN YOUR APPLICATION WILL GO TO HRA THEN HR THEN IMMIGRATION DEPARTMENT (QP) .THEN EITHER THEY WILL SUBMITTE YOUR LETTER TO GOVT IMMIGRATION OR YOUR NEW SPONSER REPRASENTIVE SHOULD COLLECT FROM THEN

BUT THE LETTER QP ISSUING IS SOMETIME NOT HELPING TO GET EARLY VISA .AS SOME TIMES NOT IN GOVT.FORMAT.

IN MY CASE I HAVE RECIVED NOC. BUT EVEN AFTER IT TAKE 4 MONTHS TO GET VISA FOR MY NEW SPONSER ( GOVT.COMPANY

Still I dont know why the delay was.but suspecting format of noc qp offers.

I hope this information will be helpful to you

and it will take minimum 2 months .so be patiant.

thanks and regards

You have to contact your the then dept. and request for this letter, if they don't have any objection they will forward the request to HR and HR will forward to immig. section to issue the letter. I think if your dept. has no objection, HR will not have any objection.
