Hi: Could any one rememebr that July 19th 1966 was the birthday of Queen diana ?. She still live in our hearts like a pressed flower.Though no fragrance, her memory smells in our heart.
The Royals in general bring tourism from all over the world. Actually it's the buildings and the history not them. Lots of people do loadssssssssssssssssss of charity work and bring in heaps of money and they don't get the same amount of press she did.
Of course she attracted charity money she was at one time married to Charles, people wanted to know here and therefore give her money. Does that make her any better than any other person?
You check google out and people in the world who have raised thousands and millions for charity. These are normal everyday people who dont have a foot in the door like she did. They may get rewarded but nothing like she did.
She was not known, she tried to be different, she made out she was abused by Charles and hurt. She was brought up in that atmosphere, even at 19 she knew what she was doing and she played everybody like a fiddle. Good for her but she is no Saint.
They were not devastated they were caught up in the hype.
Anybody can be affectionate with children if the cameras are rolling. Touching people with AIDS, walking through 'land mines'? Do you honestly think that as the mother of the future King of England she was allowed to do that unless it was SAFE?
Don't make me laugh. It was measured, it was staged, she knew exactly what she was doing ALL the time. She was seeing 3 different men when she died and had affairs when she was married.
She played the game. Sad her two kids were left, that was awful but don't make her out to be anything great.
She was an attention seeking nutter who could have brought down the Royal Family. That would not have been a problem in my eyes but she is no loss.
She was hated by the press and some public before she died and now she is a Saint? Don't make me laugh.
She came across as being so sweet and yet deep down she could have damaged the Royals and therefore her children who she 'loved' so much'.
The only sad thing in her passing was her two boys. That was it and they were/are probably protected and looked after than another kid whose mother died.
Lets forget her birthday and concentrate on the living.

Her husband was seeing another woman too.. I don't defend such practices but she was a product of her society.
Why not just come out and say what you really think about her :O)
She was a manipulative cow. Very Sad BTW but she was not the Queen of our Hearts.
"There were 3 of us in our relationships( eyelash flutter, cry)"
Yeah you were having sex with your personal trainer!!!!!
I have never known when her birthday was but I thought Princess Di brought a sense of compassion to an otherwise icy royal family.
saved countless lives in helping to pass anti-mine legislation.
And I would share my bed with the Roitweiller either!
She might not have been perfect, but who is.
I was in London when she gave her interview, and I was appalled that she had to go through that kind of life,,,just like everyone else I suppose.
She may well have been off-balance when she died, but living in a dysfunctional atmosphere will do it to you most every time....
Very very charming woman.
" Dont take life too seriously, you will never get out alive!!!"
yes
I think we all agree that she is queen of our hearts.
I Think she was remarkable and very noble. I felt sad for her death and worse given how she died.
It is a petty to see same scenario of great people gets repeated where they get lost in tragedy without truth revealed!

Have a heart. She did do a lot of charity work and brought US tourists to the UK.. So give her some credit..

"Her memory smells in our heart." - Lost somthing in translation there..
I must agree with Popcorngirl here.. She was a goody two shoes out to get the media attention..
However, she will be missed by many.
I like her and I find her affection with her children very touching. I was in London when she died. The ppl there were devastated.
oh fark me!!!!
this is borderline necrophilia.
Are you on drugs?
