Hi already took the exam in 2004 its quite a bit difficult. There are 2 types, academic and general training. The academic is much more difficult than the other. There are 4 areas to be tested 1. Listening - you are given an answer sheet which you will complete/fill-in. 2. Reading --- u are given 3 short topics (eg climate change). Every topic has questions to be answered. (this is the part that is somewhat difficult because u have an hour to finish the task. 3. Essay writing.2 task (eg graph/pie analysis) etc. 4. Speaking interview, question and answer.

For my opinion you should review in a good review center. Developed a way on how to tackle each areas to be tested.

Good luck on your endeavors.

Hi,

From my experience, you need to get the reference book and the cd/cassette for guidance. From there, you will understand what type of questions will be asked. Then, you need to read alot and practice writing alot. Good luck!

Reading/listening about the more "serious" topics, like current events, and understanding them in one setting. Plus, practicing to write short essays with an intelligent content. About the speaking part, you just have to know everything that you can about yourself. Good luck.:)
