Children's spanish playgroup

I'm just posting this to see if there is any interest in forming a playgroup for children who either have a spanish speaking background or are learning it at home or school. I have three boys, 5,4, and 2 and my older two understand Spanish but I've gotten lazy and stopped speaking it to them. I'd like to start up again. A playgroup would give me some incentive.

Hi! I am also Mexican and just arrived from a long long holiday, well, in fact, three weeks a go but the work has been driving me crazy. In fact yesterday some people celebrated our Independence but for me it's just too early and a bit tasteless on 9/11. On top of that I got a bit sick, not the H1N1 ehhhhh!

Anyway, the information that you were requesting for the kids, easier in Spanish, sale?

Hi

Just arrived in Doha, my children are 5 and 7 and will be attending school in september, but we are really interested in any kind of spanish speaking group, maybe after school?? or on the weekends??? childrens group or families group??

At the moment we are in a serviced apartment, we don't have any friends yet and with ramadan and all they are getting a bit restless, can anybody suggest some alternatives to entertain them??

Thank you for your help

There are members of our group from Mexico, Spain, Argentina, Chile, Colombia and Venezuela. I would be wiling to bet that some of them would be interested in a Spanish-speaking playgroup if you wanted to organize one. After attending an event you can join Doha Expat Mums & Kids and post a message to our private forum about it :)
