Hi all, I presently working for the government and I have a problem just couldnt find the answer while publishing in the Answers corner. So i thought to put it as a Forum topic. I have a good mechanical back ground doing a diploma in auto mobile in my mother country. Recently i found buying and selling of used cars is some what interesting for me and giving me some benifit as well, during my off time. I can buy and sell without any problem as im working for the goverment. But still I am afraid of the law here, as i dont know whether it is allowed here or not. pls somebody who know about this help me in answering. Thanks in advance!

a lot of people i believe, is doing that kind of business at a very small scale. what i understand here, you should get a permit to do any kind of business.

if you are frequently selling cars, they will know that you are in that business, so be careful.

my advise is, ask a your friends who has an existing business. they can extend their permit to your business and cover you for that purpose. i am not sure if that will cost you or something.
