NISSAN TIIDA troubled

Hi everybody!
My officemate had a Nissan Tiida 2007. He bought it brand new but lately was bothered by the precedent that the car won't start even with a newly replaced battery.
He had brought it to Nissa service center and had undergo test which if im not mistaken called "parasitic test". But surprisingly, the result is ok.
Anyone who has experience the same? How were you able to rectify the problem? Please help my officemate (actually he doesn't have a QL account!). Are Nissan Tiida not a good car at all? What are the common problems you encountered with this car?
Your honest to goodness advice would be very much appreciated... Thank you!

in auto transmission your engine wont start unless your gearstick is in P or N position...try to shift the gearstick to any position and back again to either P or N and try to start it. if the engine kicks in then contact points need to be checked.

Nissan car is excellent but it is not free for having a factory defect.

You can get a second opinion from any auto-mechanic

ok Jack i edited so that you will understand now, it was me driving and hitting a person crossing the road...was not the greatest moment even if it was not my mistake but TIDA is not at all a safe car to drive knowing that DOHA has all 17 of f1 circuits :)

I had an accident(i hit a person who crossed the road in the wrng place) and the TIDA i was driving had damages to windscreen bumper, dashboard fender all ruined(22k damage)but the guy didn't have a single broken bone or major damage only shock and some cuts and bruises(he was ok after 10 days in hamad)...and Thank god it was the Tida :) maybe the car absorbed most of the impact, But the car was like as if it hit a bulldozer or something

ENIGMA, he had the regular servicing done by Nissan Service Center in Industrial Area.

STANLEY_MNL, good advice we will consider that but i think it is not appropriate to say that the owner brain is damaged also.

SOMWERNDMIDDLE, Ok we will also take it into consideration.

NOUFAL, about your question, if im not mistaken, roughly 12, 000 kilometers. He was using it for personal use since our company is providing good servive going to work and going back to our home.

Our company usually go for nissan tiida as a company provided vehicles for the staff and we are not experiencing any problem. Servicing goes regular every 5000 kms . I think is how you manage your car.

Thanksssss

new battery but still it won't start? have your friend check the cables maybe there's too much carbon on them, have the terminal cleaned up and remove the carbon deposits on the terminals.
