Sorry ,somewhere along this thread I noticed some people asked where it's mentioned in the Quran to drink camel urine?!!!!!

If someone answered already i didn't catch it with the others goofing around so i got bored of sifting through the posts. Please let me know because I skeptical that it's written in the Quran.

Gypsy you are correct,if water is not available for survival,then urinate and drink.It is life saving also.As camel urine,cow urine also also have lot of medical qualities and if cow alive or dead its all parts can be utilaised. Even from cow tunk it is used for generating Bio gas for cooking and generate electricity and same cow tung made dry and used as fire cake . Since cow is useful in may ways, we indians worship cow as one of our god to respect the animal.

First of all Gypsy it is not in the Quran,as the poster tried to make people beleive and when asked what are his source he said the quran and made a joke about the prophet having a sense of humour.You might have satetd the benefits of camel urine but i doubt the one who created the post had any intention of priasing thye source he claims he got it from.it was more a mockery, taking the mickey in other words.

It has been proven that that camel Urine has benefits, thus proving the words of the prophet right. In India it is a proven fact to drink cows Urine,Even one of the heads of state there was a keen cow's urine drinker but the poster seems to overlook that and heads directly to the prophet Mohamed.

I knew this thread would be an attack on the prophet mohamed right from the get go.Since there is no such mention of camel urine in the Quran.It is just a cheap way to attack the prophet of Islam.

Why should it be an attack? As I just stated urine does have a lot of medicinal properties, and in the time of the Prophet it would have been once of the best disinfectants and germ killers available. If he did put in the Quran it was a wise move on his part.

Granted, today we have other things that work better. :) (Although FYI if stung by a jellyfish the best thing you can do is pee on the sting!)

Actually urine (from any animal) is one of the oldest medicines known to man. If you don't have anything to disinfect a wound: urine. Dandruff: urine. Dehydration: urine, etc etc. Luckily today we don't have to rely on it so much. :)

Why go on second rate alternative medicined when you have ointments and creams to treat them. Unless ur really affected with global financial crisis, then this would be the next best thing..

It's the only animal that when doesn't urinate its blood doesn't get intoxicated. (again according to a vet)

And this of course explains that it's possible for humans to use it as well since it has unique qualities unlike the urine of other animals.

I remember many moons ago when I first started work and my lilly soft schoolboy hands were getting blisters from using tools, the old Electricians told me to piss on them!!(The hands that is!)and it worked! seems likes urine toughens the skin and avoids you getting blisters. It's true that camel's urine has special qualities. That's why when camels don't urinate it's recycled into water when needed. So I've heard from a vet.

There are many "ancient" cures around such as cupping, leaches, drinking cow's urine and this.

If you are comfortable with them and they work for you, ten why not :)
