I have worked in uae and doha as well in past and on both occasion my sponsors(company)had just ask for my passport copies for obtaining visa,i have a job offer in doha and the company asked me passport copies and education certificates for visa processing.Is there any change in the rules as as per my previous experience only passport copy was required,is attestation on my degree certificate from Qatar embassy in India is mandatory or not to get work permit?Thanking you in advance for your comments.

They ask your certificate to determine the nature of your visa. If you are a doctor or engineer all processing will be faster.

Yes...you need to attest your degree/certificates from Qatar Embassy in India....its a must.
