Housing compounds close to Doha College
Good day all
We are investigating moving to Doha in the near future. Please can you let me know what compounds are worth looking at close to Doha College ....... my 3 children will be going there and I am not keen on a big commute.

Thanks so much for the replies received - the company is looking for us and we would like a compound - not a free standing villa. Also - what are the names of the areas / suburbs that we should be looking in as I find this confusing.

If I am not mistaken, Doha College is right beside American School. There are nice compunds in that area. One is right beside Doha college (between Decoroation R/A & Al Waab signal), 3 months back the 2 bedroom apt was 14000 and 3 bedroom 16000 QR. I forgot the name, I guess it is something like "Sumarya". There is another one near Al-Saad stadium. A really nice 5 bedroom villa fully furnished for 16000 QR. I also saw a big sign for rent there. There are lots of new villas just other side of American school.

You are right about the problems of commuting, but these can pale in comparison with the problems of finding housing on your own. If you have the chance, take provided accomodation.
