pals:

the procedure of acquiring a Visa from UAE embassy first & then getting to Saudi transit visa is no continued any more.

Only who are eligible for "On Arrival" visa can apply to go Dubai via Road. Contact one of many agencies doing visas. They would see your profession on QID & tell if you are eligible to get on arrival visa at UAE border. You will only have to get Saudi Transit Visa thru same agency as you can't approach the embassy directly.

hello,

First & foremost you need to have the Visa to Dubai & a hotel reservation, so first find a cheap hotel & book for at least for 2 nights & ask them to arrange for the visas. It will coast you AED. 250/= per visa through a hotel. Then you got to apply for Saudi visa locally here in Qatar. It will cost you Qr.110/= per visa. (a person from souq jabour will help you to get the travel visa)

Then the vehicle you planning to drive should be registered under your own name. (if not a letter from the owner authenticating, then go to Madina khalifa police station & certify the letter for traveling) then travel, from the Saudi border you need to obtain a temporary third party insurance for the vehicle your traveling.

Then drive approx 1300kmts to reach Dubai.

Its easy…… only thing from the Saudi border it will take around 1.5-2hours for vehicle queue, checking, and to avoid STUPID land cruiser drivers who will come & pork their vehicle in between the long queue…..

Its very simple and very hard also to travel dubai by road. First of all you have to check your visa status and your occupation in your QID because if your occupation in QID is labor something like this then its really hard to get a visa for DUBAI but yes, if you travel with your Sponsor then no problem. After you have to go U.A.E embassy for apply for a VISA, they will ask from you letter from your sponsor. You should submit the details of the car in which you have plan to travel like copy of car registration etc etc. If your all documents are OK then next day you can get your visa from U.A.E embassy. Then you should go to Saudi Embassy which is nearby to U.A.E embassy, apply for a transit visa and you will get it this visa within 2 ~ 3 days. Simple
