Correct iftar timings??
I have some confusion about openning of iftar time. The time table given in one post has a time which is two minutes behind the time , which Gulf times give. For example. for today, Aug 26th, Gulf time has a time of 6.01 Pm, where as the time table given in one post has a fast opening time of 5.59 Pm. Pls advise, which time to follow........
Itsayaz: There is no Mosque, so nearby that we can heard the voice of the Azaan...
My point is that any timetable posted here should be correct, as religiously, we would not be opening our fast at the correct time.
Qatarisun: Religiously, fast can’t be opened before the prayer time; therefore, following exact time is important.
Does any one has a correct timetable for prayer timings for Ramadan, as i dont get newspaper on weekends.
....qatarisun.....it does make a difference as we can only break our fast at the Maghrib Prayers Time....i.e. at sunset. Just as we hear the Azaan (Calling for prayers) from any nearby Masjid (Mosque), we can break our fast.
pardon my ignorance.. but what difference does it make 5:59 or 6:01?
follow gulftimes..thats correct
Hello ,
No need for confusion , today the Iftar time was at 6:01 pm , you can check your newspaper for the daily time because every day it is changing , nearly 1 minute before the previous day
todays Maghrib time is 6.01pm. Gulf Times is correct.
Dont u have mosque near by ...open ur fast when u hear magrib prayer .. no confusion
