I came to qatar from Baharian. I was a teacher in Baharain and where I use to teach, some of the kinder garden rhymes were prohibited because of racial nature. Can some one please tell me if Bah Bah Black Sheep is considered racial in Qatar. Please share your thoughts, thanks

no songs about them, so sad, may be they try to gain attention, as they feel inferior about their looks.

i agree, inferiority complex make one live in virtual world, imagining he is the master there, sympathetic

end of the day it all depends on ones mentality. If some one feels insecure and inferior, society feels sympathy and come up with rules to protect him. I always felt treatment for mentality a better medicine than most of this useless rules.

"This popular rhyme probably dates back to the Middle Ages, possibly to the 13th Century, and relates to a tax imposed by the king on wool. One-third went to the local lord (the 'master'), one-third to the church (referred to as the 'dame') and about a third was for the farmer (the 'little boy who lives down the lane').

This has been banned in many countries in the West.. Apparently , the white sheep complained that they weren't getting enough publicity..
