hi..
I am Filipino and I have been in Doha for 3 months and I just receive my engineering visa. My concern is can my boyfriend come here in Doha under my sponsorship? Please advise me on what to do? How much is the required salary and how long should I stay for me to sponsor my boyfriend. Please advise me on what to do? I really appreciate all your advise..
thanx..

Dear friend,

There is no 'boyfriend-girlfriend' culture in this country. If you marry him and submit all legal documents you can get a visa for Qatar. A couple can stay together only if they legally married.

Marry him. There is no such "Fiancee visa" here in Qatar...if your bf came here in Qatar and you lived together you might both caught and jailed...it's prohibited here!!!...

Exactly. You need to be married first.

there is NOTHING you can do.

You have been in Doha for 3 months, and haven’t noticed that there is no such “family status” in Qatar like “Boyfriend & Girlfriend”???

..and only Family members can be sponsored by private person in Qatar … like actually almost anywhere in the world..
