Which credit card suits me?help

I've always been scared of credit cards. i have the tendency to become impulsive on buying stuff. but i really need to have one. it's such a hassle to withdraw money all the time when out of qatar. anyway, what's the best option among the banks here in doha? I searched a little, IBQ seems interesting as well as Standard Chartered bank(though it's more beneficial to UAE).

I always fly to different countries. to use a debit card is not a wise thing to do because of the bank charges. this will be my first credit card if so.
help me pls i'm really lost here. thanks so much! :)

Everyone is required to have credit cards as long as you use it wisely and not over doing it. Making sure that you can handle the payment one at a time to avoid any conflicts when it's time for you to pay the bills.

I have a Citibank credit card and it seems perfect for me. though citibank is shrinking their office worldwide. But still very liable and expensive.

Newbeginning, if you dont want the Qmiles, then you can opt for the other reward points, if you are flight attendant you dont want to be associated with lower mass banks, stick to the top tier like CBQ etc.

One more word of advise, being a public forum, its best to avoid stating that you are a flight attendant, you would soon get a gazillion , "would you like to be my friend PM's" from jerkazoids....

Cheers and good luck.

All credit cards are the same and only the features (like no charges for one year, free for life etc.) Doha Bank credit cards are not accepted for online transaction particularly if you buy stuff from Ebay or Amazon, the best cards are those issued from your banker.

Get a Visa Card from your Bank, does not matter which one.

I highly recommend Commercialbank, am a very satisfied customer of theirs. You can choose for the Diners card package, which comes with a Visa Platinum as well. Have fun travelling for free with all the Qmiles you will accumulate on your CB card.
