Family Visa and Accomodation in Al-khor?

Hi folks,
I am planning to bring my wife on visit visa for 5~6 months, from Feb 2010. As presently I am working in Ras-laffan, the most suitable place i can think of is Al-Khor. I have a work visa which is valid till June 2010. I am an Indian and I don’t receive my salary here in Qatar though I can ask my Company to get it arranged here if its required.

Please advise related following issue

1. Things/ documents need to be checked before visa application and when shall i start the process?
2. What kind of accommodation suitable at Al-Khor and the bare minimum living cost?
3. Transportation facility from Al-Khor to Ras-Laffan as I don’t have a driving license?

To bring your wife on visit visa.

1. You need NOC letter from your employer.

2. You should have a marriage certificate

3. your wife should have a valid passport

I think no need to show salary here but its better you get your salary here as may be you need to show some bank statement on later stage if you want to get Family visa.

At Al-khor flats are not generally available what is available is Villa,you get furnished villa portion may be around Qr.3200 (1BHK) and if you go for semifurnished or unfurnished with sharing kitchen you may get upto QR 2000 or Qr2500 (1BR/K)
