i dunno if someone faced the same problem .. whenever posting a classified for an unwanted item you always get ppl to negotiate about the price ..
lets say u want to sell for one reyal ppl ask you discount and send u offers of 50 dirhams !!!
why is it like this when you want to sell something even if you are selling for less than half price ppl still want to cut your head off !!!!
do we have to put a very high price with negotiable margin of profit to sell our old unwanted items ???
and the worst thing about it that you got ppl negotiating on something they didn't even see !!!!
this is really something strange..
i dunno if you are facing the same issue my QL friends..
your comments are highly appreciated !

what kind of joy does reducing the price give to the buyer ?he thinks that he got it as the best deal ..

but still u know even if you put it as final price they will tell u "I'm ready to take it NOW !"

Anyhow thanks all for your prompt replies and i think we need to develop a new strategy for selling items on QL ...

- "make ppl feel happy they got a discount !!!"

;)

The sale of used items depends on market's demand and supply ratio. If the items (which are advertised for sales) available plenty in the market, then the buyers will have better edge. They will ask more and more discounts. So after doing survey, try to fix reasonable price first for few days, if not sold still, give "Reduced/Discounted Price". Hope it makes sense. Because, always buyers tend to feel getting the things down to earth prices or rock bottom prices.

It's called Bargaining and why not - I think it is a good thing, one should not accept the initial price without trying to get it cheaper

that is normal here , they always try to get if for "free" if possible. Anyways, just put down not negotiable , that's it !
