QR 2,500 is equivalent to a salary of a salelady here in Doha, ask for at least QR5,000.

Just a piece of advise, the salary is very very low, you wont be able to save, better to look for other opportunities.

what if you find the job is not suiting you ? your money is gone

also ask , why the former nurse is leaving - any sort of harassment

nicABETINA, I would have serious reservations about their asking you to purchase your own ticket to fly to Qatar. That sounds very risky and unethical. You also need to ask if your vacation is not only paid for in terms of airfare but PAID vacation. And I would be sceptical of an employer who did not give day(s) off.

am i liable if i deny the visa that is given to me because i am in doubt because my salary is not a good salary for a private nurse? and incase i want to demand to increased that salary how much will i say and will be the reason that i could tell to them?

No day off, is illegal! Let the employer pay the ticket and the Visa fees!! Board a plane when you have the ticket and when the Visa is done!

i talk to her temporary nurse Rose an ICU nurse and a filipina too.. and she says that it is not a stressful work.

my friend is the one who meet on that employer, and the employer says there is no day off but if i want to go around they will permit me,and the employer told also that i should be the one who will buy my own plane ticket to go there in qatar, i can grabbed my vacation after a year and the will give me a round trip ticket.

If you dare it, I would ask for 7.000 Riyals, your own separate flat near the fathers villa, a driver for emergency, a detailed duty plan (including emergencies), free food in your flat, keys only for you, a mobile to be contacted, and a registration of the contract at the Labor Ministry and your Embassy. Annual paid leave, flight ticket, and end of service gratuity in case the father is gone. Anything else would be called exploitation of Asian laborers.

Yes, you need to specify working conditions, days off, vacation, medical, phone, etc.

A Qatari emplyer wants to employ her as a MAID, but only for to attend his relative someone very old / phyiscally handicapped person.

but if he is offering 2500 + food + accomm , it is not bad . Only worry is 24 hours attendtion to be given to the patient

the second worry is -- whteher the Employer will keep his words. Pls ask for a legal contract, asking for the paymnet date each month, your security, your medical expenses etc etc
